Every two three months we plan a trip to nurture our soul, to recharge our reservoir of positivity and to feel mother nature’s magnanimous sprawl. This time we packed our bags and our car was geared up towards Jim Corbett national park, which is famous for tiger reservoir.
Our resort was prebooked and we slow down our speed when we reached jhirna road. Tusks and Wings was providing shelter to us. here is the link of resort website. http://tuskandwings.in/tusk-cottages.htm
Resort has tusk and wings two kind of accommodations, we had tusk which was suitable as per our family size. one bed room accompanied by rest room and a common space. It had beautiful dining area. Garden and lawn area was filled with blossoms and mesmerising sound of small canal was calming our minds.
Backyard of resort was a mountain. I could feel it’s beauty when we were getting ready for jungle safari at 5:30 in morning. I can never forget that breeze which mixed in our blood stream and forced our lousiness out. What all I could hear in deep silence was musical voice of birds and peacocks, monkeys and sometimes barking dear (which is sign of “tiger is around”).
I would have surely described the taste of quality food, if I could write it down in words. Presentation of food was definitely up to the mark but how can I forget to mention the most courteous staff of resort. Traveling out with toddler that in hills and jungle around is kind of nightmare but mother inside me was so relaxed because of availability of all desired things and kuku was happy finding a homely surrounding.
Other than safari, so many monsoon rivers, waterfalls, Kalagarh dam, Garjia temple, an ancient Hanuman temple, Corbett museum !! I have never spent that quality time. When I am in meditational state, when my brain wants to relax I close my eyes and review Jim Corbett. It calls me every time!!!
